So. This is me. Jemmahatty. This isn’t the best photo of me in the world but it was to hand, so please don’t hate my big tired chipmonk face. This page has been sitting all nicely edited and otherwise completely unused for possibly up to 6 months, so that tells you alot about the kind of person I am. Infact, it’s currently 2am and I thought this was as good a time as any to start writing in this thing (even though i have classes in the morning and an already dubious sleeping schedule). I think I’ve used too many parentheses so far in this short paragraph, so here’s a new one.

I can’t imagine that anybody reading this is anybody that doesn’t already know me, but I guess I’ll tell you a bit about me anyway, because that’s the done thing, isn’t it? Plus I have nothing else that I can think of to say right now. It would be slovenly to turn this lovely piece of webspace into a splurgey-ranty type thing without a formal introduction of sorts, I suppose.

I am 19 years old. I am in my 2nd year of 5 studying Film & Tv and Philosophy at the University of Glasgow. I love it. Glasgow and my university, even though I have a terrible habit of sleeping through my classes (forgive me, university), thanks to an unfortunate tag-team of insomnia and anaemia. When I’m not sleeping through classes I like to take photographs (there’s some here) and bake lots of cakes/try not to be killed by the coffee machine at my place of work. Oh and there’s this whole dressing-up-in-pretty-clothes-I-can’t-afford bit too. You’ll see that bit.

Anyway.
